The Shotgun/Throwdown: Big Monday (2/22/10) UConn Gameday Edition

Refreshing-brazilian-beer-ads2_medium

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions; Now nationally recognized!  We're being brought to you today by Bit Copa beer, in honor of today's Miss Throwdown.

The men gave us another scare by almost blowing another big lead on Saturday and the women just keep on rolling.  I won't comment on the baseball team because it hasn't been pretty to this point.  Oh, yeah...and the rifle team just won it's conference over the weekend.  We got Big Monday again tonight, this time on the road at UConn.  Let's keep the Huskies tourney hopes squarely on the bubble and let's not be another quality win for their resume.  I can always use tips, suggestions and requests.  Time to get started...

Let's GOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say

I find the lead photo quite disturbing. I know they are boobs, but it freaks me out.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
