REPOST: Welcome Home Sticks!!
"The thing that West Virginia will have with Ivan is receiver depth, which is huge for the Mountaineers!,'' Greg said. "One thing sticks will definitely bring is swagger. When he comes up to West Virginia, he will bring the type of swagger that the Mountaineers need to win the Big East. Because to me, with the depth they are building at key playmaker positions, and the nasty defense they have returning, they have a chance to go to the national championship.''

I know it's lame quoting myself, but I wanted to change his original quote around because that's what set me off in the first place!
Welcome home iMac/sticks! I can't wait to see you streaking down Mountaineer Field on your way to 6 many times in the years to come! You made a great choice and inherited a new family in Morgantown. Now let's bring back the Big East Championship!!

I would prefer...
…that you not tell potential recruits, especially those in the Rivals Top 50, to stay in Florida. Maybe I’m wrong here, I don’t know.

No problem...
with swagger. I love swagger. The more you play with a chip on your shoulder the better. The problem is, this young man seems to believe he is better then our program before he has even arrived… seems awful similar to Jason Gwaltney to me, and he panned out SO WELL!
HUH?
Dude – I’m not really seeing anything negative about his statement. In fact I think it is generally positive that he believes we can win a NC. I also believe our swagger factor is down a bit but it doesn’t mean we don’t want to TRY AND GET IT BACK, with guys like this. So if you aren’t opposed to him having swagger and that he is still interested in coming to Morgantown, what is the f-ing problem? Stay in Florida? A bit harsh, sir.
I was just saying...
that I wasn’t a huge fan of the perception I got of his attitude toward WVU. That’s all I was saying. It seemed to me (based on the entire article) he believes that WVU is like his back up school. That’s just the perception I got. Just one man’s opinion. If tomorrow, he chooses WVU, and is ready to come in and help us go to that NCG, he believes we have a chance at obtaining, then he will be welcomed with open arms.
I guess I am a little defensive about recruits lately…
Apologies all around.
You are fo sho overreacting
I agree with what he is saying. We have a ton of talented and obviously confident guys but we do not have a swagger. That has been something that is lacking since Fraud left.
COME HOME STICKS. We would love to have you at WVU to change and improve the team dynamic.
Leave no doubt tonight! Leave no doubt tonight! No doubt! They shouldn't of played the Old Gold'n Blue.
