The Shotgun/Throwdown: Monday (2/1/10) Edition

3533357889_b4cfba4e55_medium

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's best place for sports links, information and daily distractions.  Today we're being brought to you by Buckbean Black Noddy Lager, in honor of today's Miss Throwdown.

Good weekend for the Mountaineers.  As I'm sure you already know, both men's and women's BB teams took care of Louisville Saturday.  There is plenty of coverage inside.  Next up:  the women head into the meat grinder that is UConn tomorrow and the men now turn to the Backyard Brawl on Wednesday.  Wednesday is a big day this week.  We have the basketball Backyard Brawl and it's football recruit signing day.  Tips and suggestions help tremendously.  See you after the jump...

what it was Huggins said to the ref that drew the technical?

All I could hear on the TV broadcast was Kar-en Sy-pher! Kar-en Sy-pher!

Once a Mountaineer, always a Mountaineer.

Ref: “No.”

Coach: “Good, cause I think you fucking suck!”

Ref: WHISTLE "Technical foul…
