While at times out here in Wyoming, I find myself far away (physically and emotionally) from the gossip, I found myself in an interesting conversation the other night in reference to the coaching situation at WVU. This is a person with pretty solid knowledge about college athletics in the state of Tennessee and who has some friends in highish places. Some of our discussion after the jump.

After finding out about the UCONN loss....

Me: Well, I guess that about does it for Stewart...I really wanted him to succeed, but the mob will DEFINITELY be calling for his head after this debacle.

Vols Buddy: You think he is gone huh?

Me: I hope so, maybe he will take the honorable way out and retire, but if not, I bet Luck fires him.

V.B.: Who is in line to replace him?

Me: Dunno, lots of names being tossed around. The Bowdens of course (puke in my mouth a bit), Mark Richt (shake my head in disbelief), and Mike Leach (projectile vomit all over the bar).

V.B.: (Dodging vomit) Well I will go on record here and tell you the next coach at WVU will be Phil Fulmer.

Me: (Wiping mouth)That is the first name I have heard that didn't make me laugh or want to throw up!!
