The Shotgun/Throwdown: Monday (11/22/10) Edition
Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Stone Hammer Premium Dark Ale, in honor of WVU's Defense because that's what we need them to be to win this year's edition of the Backyard Brawl.
That's right...IT'S BRAWL WEEK!! Nothing gets my blood boiling like Brawl Week. The turf is already becoming part of the story and I'm sure there'll be lot's of other sub-plots as the week progresses. In other news, Men's BB lost to Minnesota last night in Puerto Rico...a game they could have won. Thankfully, in basketball, early season losses aren't the killers they are in football. There's plenty for Huggs to work on but I was encouraged by what I saw for an early season game. WVU's Men's Soccer had their post-season end yesterday with a 3-2 decision against Akron. Did I mention it was Brawl Week?

I like Caridi but..
Jack is the best ever. It is a voice that brings back a ton of memories from my childhood.
Leave no doubt tonight! Leave no doubt tonight! No doubt! They shouldn't of played the Old Gold'n Blue.

Jack Amazing ~!!!!!!!!
I bet you wish you were my age on this topic……..I started enjoying him in the late 50’s Golden Years when West was a sophomore……Jack was a Michaelangelo !!!! And he didnt have much use for pitty. ( Now there is an understatement)
Chills.
There will never be another Jack.

His "scene setter" from the Penn State game gives me chills
You can feel his emotion pick up when he hears Simple Gifts pick-up. He had a love for the Mountaineers that nobody else can come close to
