Sunday Post-Game Hangover: Oakland, Loyola, Morehead, Cinci, etc. (11/14/10) Edition
It's been a very good weekend for WVU sports so far, and it isn't over yet. In addition to Football, both Basketball teams and the Women's Soccer team, WVU has victories in hand from Volleyball, Swimming and Rifle. Women's Soccer has a Second Round matchup with Penn State this afternoon for the right to advance to the Sweet 16. As much media coverage as I could find is after the jump.
Let's GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is very good news indeed.
Hey Oliver Luck, I absolutely hate that WVU is "the winningest college football team to have never won a National Championship". You think you could do something about that?

Rifle defeats Army
The only blemish on the WVU weekend was the Volleyball team dropping their match today in five games.
WVU was 9-1 on the weekend by my count
Football Is A Damn Fickle Game...
How did the offense we saw on Saturday muster only 27 points the previous two games? Argh….!
And it would appear that our defense is legit….
If we win out and it winds up in a three-way tie, it goes to highest BCS ranking. Here’s hoping it is us….
Now is the time boys to make a big noise.
No matter what the people say,
For there is naught to fear, the gang's all here,
So hail West Virginia, hail.
Another scenario that would work:
UConn beats Syracuse.
USF beats UConn and Pitt.
WVU beats Ville, Pitt and Rutgers.
WVU wins due to head-to-head win over USF.
Actually I think there are several scenarios that would work. We’ll just have to take care of our own business and wait to see what happens.

Just read the Voodoo Five post.
Someone has way too much time on their hands.

I hope it comes down to the Pitt game. Thats the way it should be imo.
by EatSchmittPitt35 on Nov 15, 2010 9:44 AM EST up reply actions
Unfortunately, we won't know until after the Pitt game how much that game matters.
Too many scenarios out there involving UConn and USF, who play each other on December 5.
That being said, my opinion is that WVU should be 7-0 and Pitt should be 0-7 in conference every year. Or at least that’s what I always hope for.

Country I hear you and IE may be up for the Nova game?

Yessir.
I was there last year as well, and at McFaddens before and after the game. That was a really fun weekend, from what I remember.
by Country Roads on Nov 15, 2010 4:07 PM EST up reply actions
U2 stick with me that game, I will show you Philly the way its meant to be. McFaddens is fine but I have some better places close to the arena. Then we hit the Penthouse Club, enough said.
