Five Questions with The UConn Blog

Andrew Porter of The UConn Blog was kind enough to answer some last minute questions about UConn going into tonight's game.  If you think WVU fans are bitter/angry right now...  Let's get started:

TSM:  Other than Jordan Todman, who is the player WVU fans need to take notice/be aware of (and why)?

Andrew:  Instant answer: No one, because we're terrible.  After some reflection: Lawrence Wilson, our all-world linebacker who is one of the Big East's leading tacklers.

TSM:  What is this UConn team's biggest strength right now?

Andrew:  Instant answer: Nothing.  After some reflection: Probably the linebacking corps. Scott Lutrus has been hampered physically and mentally by a stinger, but Wilson and Sio Moore are having great seasons.

TSM:  How does going back to Frazer at QB affect this team?

Andrew:  Instant answer: It doesn't. We were terrible with and without him.  After some reflection: It means redshirt-freshman Mike Box isn't getting reps for next year (he's out with a concussion.) Frazer is better than Box, but that's because Box is a freshman. Frazer didn't get the job done in September, I doubt he will now.

TSM:  Given the perception that the fanbases opinions of our team's respective coaches is trending toward the negative, who do you choose, Bill Stewart or Randy Edsall?

Andrew:  Bill Stewart, because he's not Edsall.

TSM:  How will tonight play out and what will the final score be?

Andrew:  Poorly for me, good for you.  WVU: A lot.  UConn: A little. If that.
