Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Avery Brewing Company's The Kaiser Imperial Oktoberfest Lager, because it still is and I have this one in the bag (Ed. note: also, it's Derek Dooley's favorite beer).
The love fest continues via other news outlets today. And, believe it or not, there is another football game this week against another team in disarray, the UConn Huskies. Yes, Mountaineer fans, it could be worse (though that doesn't make me feel any better at this point). Full media coverage is inside. And to clarify the sponsor statement/sentence
A while back, Country Roads challenged me to fill out the rest of October with different Oktoberfest beers and I took that challenge (with the exception of game-day or pre-game editions)
I have complete in utter faith in you.
