Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Flying Dog's Dogtoberfest, because Country Roads dared me, it still is and it's close enough.
It's B.J. day here at the Musket. Oh, grow up! I'm talking about USF's QB Daniels (but, yeah...I went there). Game previews are all over the place as well. And it's official: Jeremy Johnson is leaving WVU (not that it was a shock at this point). Also, head over to Voodoo Five (USF's blog) for more coverage. If you're in town for the game Thursday, stick around for Friday evening's banner raising festivities. The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. with an autograph session featuring selected men’s and women’s players at the Green and Gold gates. The on-court portion of the program will begin at 8:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

It’s quite a challenge for you, so I’m going to give you some leeway here.
Also, if I’m a cop and I’m arresting Pacman Jones, it’s going to take an awful lot to convince me that the Adam Jones I pulled up in the NCIS database as showing an outstanding warrant isn’t the Bengals CB.

Sorry to see the kid leave, but I don’t blame him. Hell, it is still kind of recruiting triumph to me that we got him to come here. I am sure he will land on his feet at some Texas school…he would fit in well, where….Baylor?
