The Shotgun/Throwdown: Monday (1/4/10) Edition

Impaled_medium

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's best place for sports links, information and daily distractions.  Today we're being brought to you by Impaled Ale because that's what happened to WVU on Friday.

Wow, did that New Year's Day ever suck!?!?  That and the fact that I'm still fighting pneumonia made for a pretty s@#$%y weekend.  Keep the tips, suggestions and requests coming.  See you after the jump...

Miss Throwdown:

Today's Miss Throwdown is an American actress who has some impressive assets.  She's been seen in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (remake) and Wedding Crashers, as well as a memorable appearance on Two and a Half Men.  Here's one of my personal favorites, Miss Diora Baird.

Great Column By Hertzel

I hope and pray that Pat is OK.

Now is the time boys to make a big noise.
No matter what the people say,
For there is naught to fear, the gang's all here,
So hail West Virginia, hail.

Yeah....

…also, Antoni’s season wrap-up, Looking Back; Moving Forward, was worth reading. Stewart’s analysis of the three plays that altered the outcome was accurate. I am still peeved about Devine only getting 5 touches in the second half, but what’s done is done. On to the Final Four!

Now is the time boys to make a big noise.
No matter what the people say,
For there is naught to fear, the gang's all here,
So hail West Virginia, hail.

Get well, Pat!

Watching that was like watching one of my own kids get hurt. We love you, Pat.
