The Shotgun/Throwdown: Friday (1/29/10) Edition

E2ca125d-98fa-2914-0dbf-34d6f98a88e2_medium

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's best place for sports links, information and daily distractions.  Today we're being brought to you by Marston's Pedigree, in honor of today's Miss Throwdown.

Another big Big East BB weekend is upon us.  There's a full slate including both Louisville men's and women's teams visiting the Coliseum tomorrow.  Here's my plea for the students to be extra creative.  Rick Pitino doesn't come to town that often.  Help him remember it.  I won't waste anymore time here because there's lots inside to cover.  Remember, suggestions and requests are always welcomed.  Have a great weekend everybody and stay warm!!

Let's GOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

New insults for UL?

Is that all you have for them? After losing 4 in a row; one would think you would be exploring why…

4 in a row for UL..

That is special! Of course, I was rooting for WVU most of my life; until I realised that you guys are so insecure that you need to pick on poor little Marshall…Of course, when you have never dominated your own conference , you must pick on somebody. Coach Nehlen would never believe it.

I like you, you make me chuckle

We pick on Marshall because they are like an annoying gnat that just won’t stop pestering you. You could easily squash it but you would feel bad so you just put up with it and swat it away every once in a while.

Leave no doubt tonight! Leave no doubt tonight! No doubt! They shouldn't of played the Old Gold'n Blue.

That is why I asked for your help in creating the "Marshall " Blog..

You are so entertaining , that having you troll that site(if it existed, and it will…), would blow out the hits…unfortunately you did not have the foresight to see the opportunity for unlimited vitriol towards Marshall and the Tri-State in general…
