The Shotgun/Throwdown: Thundering Turd Hangover (1/21/10) Edition
Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's best place for sports links, information and daily distractions. Today we're being brought to you by Mendicino Brewing's White Hawk Select IPA, in honor of today's Miss Throwdown.
The men took care of business last night. It wasn't pretty, but it could have been a lot worse. Ohio State comes to town next for the last OOC game on the slate. Don't look now, but the women are on a roll. They probably won't get the attention they deserve, but they are good...VERY GOOD. We'll start to find out how good this weekend when they take on ND. There is plenty of coverage of both teams inside. Suggestions and requests are always welcomed. Jump right in...

Being from Charleston...
I have seen almost all of these games in person and it is almost always too close for comfort. There for a few minutes I thought you may be cursing me but Marshall’s token white got hot and kept them in the game. Just like always.
You are welcome. That was my one and only New Year’s gift too you for all the times I raised your blood pressure in ’09.
Other than this game I hope you know not to trust my gambling tips. I am normally wrong
Leave no doubt tonight! Leave no doubt tonight! No doubt! They shouldn't of played the Old Gold'n Blue.

All in all, it was a good night
The WVU men’s and women’s teams both won and Pitt lost.
Once a Mountaineer, always a Mountaineer.

WVU DIE HERD !!!!!!!!!
Veer, Bobby Bowden, and WVU have in common with Marshall?
If it wasn’t for WVU that low life school wouldn’t have a Football Team. Die HERD Die

Another to add to the long list of reasons to hate Bobby Bowden.
From everything I’ve heard the Meth heads from Huntington really showed their asses last night in harassing Huggins and WVU players. A shame the state government won’t give that obese crack infested latrine of a city to Kentucky.

Huntington to Ky?
Ashland doesn’t want them…you need to have something about you to be a Kentuckian, even if it is repulsive to Yankee Liberals. WV is a state of quitters,by quitters, for quitters. Just look at the formation of the state, too scared to do their part either way in the Civil War? WV just quit, and seceded from Va. Carpetbaggers like the Rockefellers come to WV, rape all the wealth and natural resources, then send the jobs and money that could create to NY City, then you guys elect them so they can guide the"ignorant hillbillies". I guess your Carpetbaggers are doing what Liberal Elitists do best! On top of all that, coal is the only thing WVa has to offer, and you are making fun of the native coal-mining?Have any of you guys ever looked in a mirror?
