Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's best place for sports links, information and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Polar Beer, in honor of today's Miss Throwdown.
Sorry for the delay (my boss is a professional hoverer and this editor keeps locking up on me). I hope the content makes up for it, somewhat. Almost is the only way to describe that game Saturday, and unfortunately, that ain't good enough. Although the Mountaineers did rally offensively, Huggins wasn’t impressed with their effort that came up short.
"I’m not into moral victories and I’m not going to go in there and tell them, hey, ‘Great job and great comeback.’ What I told them is, ‘You didn’t bring your behind to play.’ We just didn’t come to play."

New BBall Polls are up
WVU slipped to 10th in the AP and 9th in the Coaches, based on Saturday night’s loss, but are still ranked #1 on the RPI. All told there are 6 Big East Teams in the AP Top 25 with 4 ranked in the top 11.
