Mountaineer Field is finally going retro: the Colorado game will be the first real-time a concerted effort has been made to bring back the traditional "Let's Go Mountaineers" chant to Mountaineer field.
If you want to know how effective this can be, just check out Kansas fans doing their own version of it at Phog Allen Fieldhouse.
This could be amazing at both Mountaineer Field and the Coliseum.

WOW
We used to do it when I was a student, though admittedly not much and much more of the “band version” as mentioned in the video. The droning affect could be SPECTACULAR!!!

See, I’m honest and left the first one in there. It wouldn’t matter…whatever I would have picked to replaced them would lose too.

I love a “traditional school chant” that has to be taught to the fan base. Nothing says traditional like a chant that hasn’t been done in 30 years.

I've Heard It Before, But...
…isn’t it really more something you do when walking through an opposing teams’ concourses. The funny part to me watching this is it doesn’t seem so complex as to merit a 3:35 instructional video.
