Media Picks WVU to Finish 2nd in Big East
In the preseason Big East poll, the conference's beatwriters have picked Pitt, coming off a rousing 0-point offensive outburst against a powerful Oregon State team in the Sun Bowl, to win the 2009 league title. Pitt is followed closely by WVU and Cincinnati, who finished behind the Mountaineers despite receiving more first-place votes. USF, who also received some first-place votes, checked in at 4th. The good news is that the media has correctly picked the league champion only once since the ACC raid, and that was in 2007 when WVU shared the title with UConn. Sorry, Pitt.

I still refuse....
to acknowledge the 2007 “shared title” with those pussies at UCONN after we destroyed them 66-21.
