Happy Birthday Jerry Alan West!

Jerry_west_medium

Today is Jerry West's 71st birthday.  While we laud more recent players like Joe Alexander and Pat White, it's important to remember that Jerry West is, and may always be, the best and most important player to ever grace WVU.  That's a bold statement, but a talent like West, both on and off the court, deserves every bit of it.  So happy birthday, Jerry ... The Smoking Musket salutes you!
