Everyone Have Their Big East Tournament Brackets Filled Out?
This is a very tough draw for us. I personally don't think we'll have any trouble beating Notre Dame (or Rutgers), but Pitt is just a behemoth. While recently we've played pretty well at Madison Square Garden, Pitt treats that place like a second home. They're unbeatable there.
Not a ton of huge upsets, but I just see Pitt getting it done. UConn always manages to screw up somewhere in March -- hopefully this year it's in the conference tournament, not the NCAA.

well, this is lousy
Notre Dame is still dangerous (more so than anyone else in the bottom 8), and then if we get by them, our old rivals who unfortunately for us are the best I’ve ever seen them, period.
Here’s to making it to Friday, I’m not putting money on it, but here’s hoping! If anyone can undo the hex that’s been placed on Butler and Ruoff (“fear the basket”), that would be most appreciated!
Tough draw
This is such a tough draw. Agree ND is the toughest 9-16 draw, and Pitt is the toughest team in the conference. WVU COULD beat any team on the right night in the conference – any team except Pitt. Pitt is just too good.
Hopefully, since the best that can be expected is a 1-1 BE tourney, the ‘eers can get a 7 seed. I’d like to get the 6, but that probably went out the window when they lost to L’ville and drew Pitt in the second round.
Agreed
7 seed is most likely. Which sucks, because none of the 7 seeds play anywhere close to WV—-the games are all in Kansas City or Minneapolis.
