WVU opens as field goal favorite versus Fighting Bobby Bowdens

This isn't Florida State we're playing, it's the 30+ year legacy of a hall-of-fame coach and icon. I expected the line to be higher, but am not shocked considering the circumstances.

Also, the over/under on uses of the word "daggummit" by both coaches in pre-game press conferences has been set at a healthy 259. I like the over.

Pitt Fans Need Your Help

In the spirit of Christmas, I am arranging rides to Charlotte for Pitt fans going to the Car Care Bowl. Many of their fans erroneously believed that losing to WVU “meant nothing” and made travel arrangements for Jacksonville anyhow. I’m hoping to find some generous WVU fans who could drop off the Pitt fan contingent in Charlotte on their way down to Jacksonville. Considering the Pitt fan base, I think I need two Yugos and a Prius. Thanks in advance.

but I don’t know any Pitt fans who thought we were going to Jacksonville after the Brawl. It was pretty obviously BCS or Charlotte depending on the Cincy game.

The cicadas have all gone back into their cave or hole or wherever a cicada goes back to. I’m guessing about 8,000-10,000 Pitt fans will make that trip. What a pathetic excuse for a fan base. Enjoy the Car Care Bowl Sling Stone and try not to embarrass the Big East like you did in the Sun Bowl last year, jackass.
