Poll Of The Decade's Best: Linebacker
Running the 3-3-5 defense requires your linebackers to be both smart and quick. While these guys may not have always got "quick" right, they had a ton of football smarts.
This group made plays in the secondary and behind the line of scrimmage. They were the backbone of the defense and were responsible for some of very memorable plays.
Remember, after you vote, share your thoughts in the comment section.
Note: Today was scheduled to be WRs but in light of the Chris Heny tragedy, I felt we should hold off. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Chris Henry. Once a Mountaineer, Always a Mountaineer!

Grant Wiley
If his shoulders had not gone out he would be an NFL LB and not a model.
Leave no doubt tonight! Leave no doubt tonight! No doubt! They shouldn't of played the Old Gold'n Blue.

Grant
Concensus All-American and a ridiculous stat line, averaged over 10 tackles a game for his career.
I went with Reed
Simply because a) he is a good player b) we both have red hair
Players who should be in the Hall of Fame
DIck Lebeau, Pat TIllman, Dwight White, Donnie Shell, L.C. Greenwood, Ray Guy, Steve Tasker, Greg Llyod, Andy Russel, Chris Carter and Kevin Greene

Grant Wiley Hands down...
I think it’s all been said, but I would like to add that I coached Magro in JV baseball at University High so we are basically best friends

Hard to argue with Wiley.
He got my voted. Consensus All-American, but there are a lot of good names on this list. Jay Henry was always underrated, Magro was solid, Mortty Ivy was a beast, and Boo McLee definately deserves more love than one vote, but it’s tough to vote for any one other than Grant Wiley.
Can I change my vote?
I just don’t want to see hometown boy and former walkon Scotty Gyorko get shut out.
We wanted to give a lot of options because we need 3 starters for the All-Decade team.
