Ummm

What about that one time….no.

Or that one time where…no.

Oh Oh, you remember that one year when…no.

Leave no doubt tonight! Leave no doubt tonight! No doubt! They shouldn't of played the Old Gold'n Blue.

This is true....

but it also makes me nervous for this team. They are so up and down, we don’t really know who to expect to show up for the game. I’m hoping last week was a spark that we can carry throughout the rest of the year and the Gator Bowl. But it may be setting us up for a let down next week…..

What would a loss to Rutgers do to that Bill Stewart “signature” win 5YS?

by EatSchmittPitt35 on Dec 1, 2009 11:58 AM EST reply actions

Nothing

No matter what, he beat the #8 team in the nation. You cannot take that away from him. He could never win another game at WVU and he still beat a #8 Pitt team.

Would it piss me off and greatly disappoint me if we lost to Rutgers? Heck yes it would. I think it would make everyone mad.

Why even think that way?

I’m not the biggest HCBS fan, but you say that like you want/expect us to lose to Rutgers. RUTGERS! C’mon.

Go away

See it’s those types of comments that get people annoyed at you.

We all get it. You want to be the doubter who at the end, if something happens, can say Told You So.

I never would say I told you so Burgh and I could care less if you are annoyed with me. It’s a blog, if you don’t disagree and get annoyed with people, maybe you aren’t getting the concept. I do not want to lose to Rutgers, and I do not expect to lose to Rutgers Charley, it in all honesty was a hypothetical question posed to 5YS, relax peeps and don’t get so defensive.

My first Mountaineer game was when I was 7 years old against Rutgers, my father and I took a bus with all Weirton Steel employees from Weirton to Motown, it was a win. My son’s first Mountaineer game was 2 years ago in Piscataway, it was an ass whomping win in a downpour for 3/4th of the game. I hate Rutgers, I think they are a joke, and if Bill Stewart leads us to a loss against that shit program, I won’t be happy. Is that fair?

Chuckle, But...

…don’t call down the thunder! 5th…just put those naysayers on ‘ignore!’

Now is the time boys to make a big noise.
No matter what the people say,
For there is naught to fear, the gang's all here,
So hail West Virginia, hail.

Speaking of RU....

Does anyone else find it interesting that Schiano is not even discussed as a possible head coach replacement at all of the other openings nationwide? Clearly his stock has fallen.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
