Faithful
I feel like Ed Harris in Apollo 13...
Everyone all over Mountaineer nation has NO FAITH! None. Over the weekend I read countless posts from many fair-weather "fans" listing every reason in the book why WVU sucks this year. Our defense... Our offensive line... Our coaching... Our offense (too now, apparently). You would think this team was last in the Big East, not ranked 25th in the BCS and about to embark on an extremely important stretch run to the Big East Championship.
So to all you fans people out there indicating that you have given up on the Mounties, saying we suck, we have no chance, and our team is just plain "no good". Mark this time and date down. WVU WILL WIN FRIDAY NIGHT IN NATTI. And no, I'm not talking about Natural Light, WVU always wins with Natural Light.
This team will come into UC's house with a chip on their shoulder that you haven't seen all season. Hard hitting, go-for-broke play on both sides of the ball will lead to a HUGE victory, propelling us into the perfect position to reclaim what is rightfully ours, the BE title!
I know many of you out there will read this and scoff, saying my post is all conjecture and that I have no facts backing up my wild claims, but sometimes, facts are overrated. I just have a feeling in my heart, a feeling that every fatihful member of Mountaineer nation should have before a big game, a never-say-die feeling that our team can win!!
So to all of you haters out there, who continue to list all of this teams faults, come this Friday night, all I have to say is...
"With all due respect gentlemen, I believe this is going to be our finest hour!"
LET'S GO MOUNTAINEERS!!!!

I Totally Believe It!
I think we can win that game. If you were referencing my post about the offense, I didn’t say it sucked. I merely asked what has happend since the Syracuse game, because, statistically, we have clearly hit a wall and I think improved competition only provides half the answer – I wouldn’t group Marshall and Louisville with Uconn and USF. That dip in production has me concerned.
But judging from last year’s odd game with Cincy, I don’t think they are superior to us, and I really do believe we will win. And even if we lose, I think this game is a defining one for us. I hope to see a great effort!
Fans
I wasn’t referencing any post in particular for a specific reason. The constant barrage of negativity toward our team from OUR fan-base is just getting very tired. I just wanted to point out that we are a long way from out of this thing and I expect our team to win on Friday.
Your Crystal Ball
…uh…. better get a new one. A good performance — yes. Our finest hour — hardly.
