The Shotgun/Throwdown: Wednesday (11/4/09) Edition
Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, brought to you today by Stroh's. This goes to eleven.
It's seems the reports of my demise were pre-mature. Lew-uh-vull week is well under way and the Krag is in fine form. Hopefully we'll get to see a diary entry sometime soon. It's also video day here at the Shotgun/Throwdown. So get yourself some popcorn, sit back, relax and enjoy the shows. Tips and requests are always nice. Let's get it started...

Today's Miss Throwdown is a budding Polish pop singer, but will be forever known for things other than her voice. Please welcome a personal favorite of mine, Ewa Sonnet. (Google her if you want to see more, wink wink)

Look at that stadium.
While the shot is grainy you cannot see any aisles. I forgot just how packed that stadium was. Too bad that will never happen again.
Leave no doubt tonight! Leave no doubt tonight! No doubt! They shouldn't of played the Old Gold'n Blue.

Walker Run
That run happened right in front of a young Stiles. When he turned the corner, I think I blacked out.
Also, I remember before the game thinking I might die because it was crowed. That place was electric that night.

Stroh's at The Dungeon
Anybody else get sick drinking “America’s Only Fire-Brewed Beer” at the Dungeon? Do they still make that shit?

Yeah, but in name only....
The Stroh’s label was bought and outsourced. It is no longer “fire-brewed,” but brewed the new-fashioned way by Miller.
I always liked how its can was just about our shade of blue….
And I was proud to be at that Miami game in 1993. I don’t know how the fire marshall didn’t get involved, because people were sitting on the steps. It was very hard to navigate your way up the stairs. One of the great moments…was it really 16 years ago? Shit….
