It is loud, it is a stadium they are right on top of you; they've got a rabid fan base. They all have good arms -- whether they are righthanded or lefthanded -- they throw those batteries extremely well. They are extremely accurate with those, too. I'm going to have to have a hard hat when I come out of the locker room.
They love football, they love football in Morgantown. It's a 12-o'clock nooner, so they won't be quite as tanked as they were when we were there two years ago. But, they get after it, man. They love football. I mean, they love playing football there and they love coaching football there and they love watching football there. It's a great football place. I've got friends that have gone to school there and it's a great football town.
Steve Kragthorpe on Mountaineer Field.
I think The Krag realizes his days are extremely numbered, so he's basically living his life by the Joel Goodsen mantra: "What the fuck."

I think he is lobbying for a GA position next year.
Leave no doubt tonight! Leave no doubt tonight! No doubt! They shouldn't of played the Old Gold'n Blue.

I would take him in a heartbeat.
He was good at Tulsa.

I always thought
those Krag diary posts were fake, but apparently I was wrong.
Also, I’ve always heard the stories of the batteries but when is the last time that actually happened?

I remember there being a golfball incident....
With Maryland sometime in the 90’s… after that I’ve occasionally seen water bottles and cups thrown at the sideline but even that is relatively rare.

wasn't here for any batteries i know of...
but i do remember a rather large bottle of jack daniels bouncing through the endzone during the 2003 vt game
Wow
It’s too bad I can’t take Krag seriously… or this would have been much funnier.
Maybe we can hire him?
To scrub the toilets and urinal troughs at Mountaineer field?
If this is an actual comment (and it appears that it is from the PPG article) nothing could be funnier. What a douche.
McCartney
lead story on WVSports.com is that ivan mccartney has “handicapped” the race…i am not a member, or paying for it, so someone let me know, please!
Eh, not much.
He really didn’t provide that much insight.

Golf balls and whiskey bottles against md in 98. CoSt us 2 unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.
Trash cans against Miami in 93. Cost us a settlement with Randy Shannon.
Funniest quote by mark may, “wvu fans thow pennies becuase they can’t afford nickles.”

The Krag
does know how to compliment and slap you across the face at the same time.
But that’s about it right now.

That's a given.
Sad thing is, they were down to their 3rd stringer last week against Arkansas State. I don’t know who is playing this week, but it probably doesn’t matter….I might get 250+ on ’em if I have a TE running crossing routes all day.
well......
Louisville has not thrown for 300 yards all season. and they have 3 qb’s that have played, so who the hell knows which QB will play?
that being said, i’d say probably 95% percent chance that he does.
Krag just earned himself some D's.
Heading to Walmart to stock up now.
(That was sorta funny, though.)
If your serious...
Please don’t waste D cells on Krag… AAA’s are much cheaper.
Walmart?
I’d go to the dollar store. Cheaper there, so for the amount you spend at walmart you get what, maybe triple that at the dollar store.
