HALFTIME
the penalties won’t stop, the stupid mistakes won’t stop cause “YOU” don’t do anything about them, we’ve gone from 1 extreme, (rich rod) a-hole to the other coach stew mr. softy, "i’m just a happy country boy, who’s CONTENT with being the head football coach of this great universtiy….
Fool
Bill Stewart is. I REALLY hope he is a man of his words and hands the reigns over to Holiday..we dont need a wholesale coaching change …but BILL STEWART cannot have the reigns another season. He is in way over HIS head.
KEN
Take a Deep Breath Folks....
We’re tied up at halftime with the #8 team in the nation. Don’t give up yet.
Pitt 99 yards 1st half...
2/7 on 3rd downs. Our D is holding them. Let’s hope the offense (and the play calling) wakes up.

WE WIN!
Hey, whether you’re for the coaching staff or against them, this is a significant win. The defense was pretty much a stone wall. Way to go Mounties! Pitt is Shitt! Now lets root for the bball team tomorrow.

HERE'S A NEW NUMBER FOR YOU
12-7
I’m tired of hearing about 13-9. Apparently, the team was too. In case you don’t recognize the new number, it’s the ’Eer’s record against Pitt in Big East play.
It’s Friday, November 27, 2009 and PITT STILL SUCKS!
[ask me about going for it on 4th down…4th down]

Can we not just enjoy this win over a top 10 Pitt team for one night?
I’m in agreement with most folks about some of the things that went down in this game, but the bottom line is…WE WON!!! And for that, I’m happy.

Agreed
Such negativity in these posts in a game that was close, but always felt like WVU wanted a hell of a lot more than Pitt. Those shit eaters just don’t know how to be a top 10 team.
Good things will come out of this. Give HCBS credit for a good victory. The O played much better in the second half. Obviously they made adjustments to the game plan.
Enjoy the win and let’s get our focus on Rutgers.

What do you think about the 4th down call?
Great game by the D and the offensive line looked really solid.
25314 you wanted killer instinct and he went for the touchdown at the goal line. I agree with the first call to go for it but second was a little silly.
We won and Eat shit pitt
Leave no doubt tonight! Leave no doubt tonight! No doubt! They shouldn't of played the Old Gold'n Blue.

I read somewhere...
…that the wind had been swirling in the North endzone and that Pitt’s K had already missed from that exact spot. It’s not like the 45 yarder was a gimmie. That being said, I still would have kicked it. Bitancurt has been pleasantly consistently good this year.
Going for it on 4th and goal from the Pitt 1 was fine with me. It was early and Pitt has a good defense, so it’s hard to tell if/when you might get that kind of opportunity again. The play call was okay—-with their D-line, I didn’t like our chances of running it right at them, but I guess we could have tried to spread them out. The bottom line was poor execution. You just can’t take a sack there. If we had given them the ball at the 1, who knows what might have happened?
