The Shotgun/Throwdown: Tuesday (11/24/09) Edition

Estrella_damm_medium

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's best place for links, information and fun.  Today we're being brought to you by Estrella Damm, a fine Spanish beer in honor of today's Miss Throwdown.  It's up to 25 and I connected it to Miss Throwdown (yes, I'm a bit proud of myself).

Sorry for the delay folks, but work had me occupied for while.  Things have definitely picked up.  Tonight starts a busy week for Huggs and crew.  I won't keep you waiting any longer.  Keep the tips, suggestions and requests coming.  See you after the jump...

Ebanks?

what’s wrong with Ebanks? what’s his “personal issue’s”? ……anyone know?

by cabincreekzeke on Nov 24, 2009 11:30 AM EST reply actions

I'll tell you what little there is to know

He is not practicing with the team, he is in school and attending classes. Huggs won’t comment other than it’s a “personal issue” with Devin. I saw an interview with a player (can’t remember which) and he stated that he didn’t know what’s going on.

This seems to be in the same vein as the Hogan situation in that no information is being released and the powers that be are intent on keeping it that way.

Personally, I wish the young man all the best and hope whatever “it” is, works out for the best.

i heard...

that huggins told him to get on the tred mill and he said no. so huggins sent him home calling him Mr. NBA. he came back to practice the next day and huggins asked him ’what are you doin here mr. nba?" so he left…..

rumors.

I must be getting older...

but my favorite thing in that post is Pat White’s mocking Pitt’s growl. I particularly like Owen asking, “You alright, Pat?”

zeke, if that story is true that may be the greatest thing I ever heard, I love Bob Huggins, fuck these prima donnas

5YS, I am giving out a game tonight, Wofford +14, I actually bought it up to +16, if you are able to do it take advantage and pay your rent this month, if it loses at least you can rip on me for the next year and forget about the Car Care Bowl

i agree....

one bad apple can ruin the bunch. huggs don’t put up with that cry baby shit. if your not going to work hard, he has no time to coach you.

My brother just texted me

and said Ebanks is at the game and warming up.

Does it say “Mr NBA” on the back of his jersey?

by EatSchmittPitt35 on Nov 24, 2009 6:35 PM EST reply actions

Ebanks

Give the guy a break until we all find out what the situation has been. (if the truth ever comes out)
Great to hear that he is back with the team; things will only get better when he gets back on the court.
We certainly need him playing if WVU expects to live up to their expectations.
I, for one, am really glad that he is at least back with the team.
Let’s GOOOOOO Mountaineers!!!!!
Also want to ask something of the football team too……BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF SHPITT; That would really make for a great Thanksgiving weekend
