Nyarsuk better be damn good
does anyone think that Nyarsuk committing to WVU may have ruined our shot at getting Tobias Harris? BGN said that Harris took an unexpected pit stop at Tennessee on his way back from Ga Tech. that was the same day that Nyarsuk committed to us. something major must have happened for Harris to take the "unexpected stop"...you just don't travel to Tennessee and take in a game if you weren't planning on it earlier. may be a coincidence, but then again, we did only have 2 scholarships. sounds to me like harris may have been checking out his #2 selection after #1 didn't have room for him. thoughts?

Nyarsuk
If Tobias Harris wants to come to WV you better believe that Coach Huggins will find a way to get him on the team.
It may take a scholarship away from someone on the team now that will never see playing time anyway, but Coach would make room for Harris somehow.

Umm, no.
If Harris was coming to Morgantown, or even had a thought to come to Morgantown, there would have been a scholarship available for him. We signed Nyarsuk when it was clear that Harris was out of the picture. Why would Huggins do anything else? You always have room for a top 10 player.

Speaking of players....
I was just checking out the 2010 recruiting rankings for Men’s B-ball. WVU is not in the Top 25, nor were we in 2009. But we were #4 in 2008. I know we have a young team with some good talent but I was really hoping to land Harris or Payne. Also, why would Harris pick Pearl over Huggs???
Also, it reminded me about Roscoe Davis. He was a high level recruit that I think didn’t qualify academically. Played at Hargrave. Anyone know what’s up with him? Did he disappear?
