This Just In: Danny Jennings Is A Monster
Now that's the way you make a college debut.
In just 16 minutes, Danny Jennings put up 9 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 blocks. He played like a man possessed. Quite a few of those points came via the slam dunk of the most authoritative persuasion.
Of course, this was against talent a few steps below Big East level, but for a freshman seeing his first official action in a college uniform, Jennings was the player of the game. Strong words, considering Da'Sean Butler put up 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. But it was Jennings who stole the show, becoming much more than the #23 rated center in America as Tony Caridi mentioned in the broadcast.
Jennings is the true inside presence that we've been looking for a long, long time (probably since the departure of D'Or Fisher, and even was more of the jump-shooting type). Sure, there will be slip-ups and down games, as any freshman is prone to -- but Jennings is the man. The. Man.

Once Kilicli's suspension is lifted...
WVU might have one hell of a frontcourt.
Any combination of: Kilicli, Jennings, Ebanks, Jones, and Smith….
The present and future of this team is scary good.
It was tough going at times without Ebanks
Hopefully, his personal issues will be quick and done with soon.

Thanks for writing this up
I read the WVU home page write up as well, sounds like De’Sean is back in gear as well.
I also got the first pop-up ad I was ever glad to receive – they have mini-plans for WVU basketball. I just spoke to my wife and we’re going to get a couple. This is looking to be a season that I’d want to be a part of!
Mazzula out again – I’ve been seeing rumors about his shoulder still being FUBAR, have you guys any information about him?
