Updating The WVU Football Recruiting Class Of 2010

It's been awhile since TSM has updated the recruiting list for 2010 (found on the left column of the main page), so I thought now was as good a time as any.  Plus, after we lose a game, I invariably find myself looking towards the future, so that's where my attention has gone this time.

A few things:

  • I am converting the star counts from Scout.com to Rivals.com.  Personally, I think Rivals' scouting system is better and therefore, their star counts are more "accurate."
  • YouTube videos are tough to find (partly because the site is blocked at work).  If you do come across a video from one of our committed players, please pass it on to me at charleywest@gmail.com.
  • I can't wait for the Braylon Heard era.

UPDATE: The code in the recruiting section was causing the site to get all drunk and handsy at the company Christmas party.  Or, in other words, it was messed up.  I am working on the problem.

UPDATE #2: FIXED!

Uh...

…perhaps it speaks to how it felt watching the game, but Doc, we didn’t lose last week!

Eh, I wrote the post last week.

Just didn’t publish it until today. Maybe I should proofread, or have one less martini at lunch. But let’s face it, neither is going to happen.

Agree on the Bryalon Heard era 100%

Dude is gonna be a beast. I won’t be surprised in the least if he is our featured back very quickly and keeps Tavon Austin out in the slot.

The best part is...

…he’s not a midget. I love Noel and Jock, but sometimes you need a regular sized running back. He’s more NFL than scat back.

Quinton Spain was left out

Dude you left out Spain, he is out best OL in this class. BTW he is playing in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl…see link

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
