Deniz Kilicli Suspended
Title says it all. Twenty games. It seems like that'll effectively end his season. It'll be interesting to see what happens from now on. Thoughts and comments?
Hopefully it won't be that much of an issue, especially considering the consensus seems to be that Kilicli was raw and lacked the polish for the DI game, especially in the Big East this year. We do have plenty of depth, although we could have used his body down low to eat up some minutes this year. Either way this is a blow, it's just unclear how big of a blow it really is.

not unexpected
Redshirt won’t help with averting the suspension. Will probably serve his time during the games, get better in practice and make a contribution as a fresh big man down the stretch when the rest of the league may be a bit tired.
The NCAA is a horrible organization.
This suspension on top of what happen to Dez Bryant just show that the NCAA is only interested in money and not the student athletes that make them the money.
The gov needs to bring an anti-trust case against the NCAA
Leave no doubt tonigt! Leave no doubt tonight! No doubt! They shouldn't of played the Old Gold'n Blue.
I agree
How does the fact that he played on a team with a pro make him eneligable, I don’t understand how the NCAA came to this conclusion. My question is if this was a UNC, Indiania, Duke or Kansas player would they have even investigated the matter.
"Polamalu’s lineage can be traced through several roots. Chuck Norris mated with an Amazon Queen, and on the other side, Tony Hawk mated with Mother Nature. The two children of these spawned and fused in a tantric love session to create Troy Polamalu. The mother however died as he tore through the birth canal with a spin move."
