TSM Coaching Approval O'Meter (Post-UConn, 2009)

Uconn2_medium

Another week, another win, and yet another rise in the coaching approval of Bill Stewart & Co. (which sounds like a marketing firm, albeit probably not a good one).  The Mountaineers now stand 6-1, rattling off four straight wins and stand undefeated in the Big East.  While there's still a lot left to play, it's no small feat anytime you control your own destiny in-conference.

So, where does the coaching approval rating go this week?  Up?  Down?  Sideways?  Plaid?  Tough to tell.

Remember, when you vote, please extrapolate both "yes" and "no" votes with a comment or two in the, you guessed it, comments section.  Fire away.

Are we going to ludicrus speed while were at it

"Polamalu’s lineage can be traced through several roots. Chuck Norris mated with an Amazon Queen, and on the other side, Tony Hawk mated with Mother Nature. The two children of these spawned and fused in a tantric love session to create Troy Polamalu. The mother however died as he tore through the birth canal with a spin move."

YES

While it was not pretty at all we got the W. I would rather win ugly than lose pretty.

As long as we keep winning I will keep voting, YES.

Yet again people vote no and then run away. Man up and say why you think a W is a bad thing.

Yes

All things considered, it would have to be a yes this week. My only complaint would be our QB situation not focusing on ball security. Other than that on and particularly off the field, I think we hit a home run this week.

Actually, I did vote no this week

Felt like the handling of JB and the major step backwards in special teams and pass coverage deserved a no.

I think of it more as a weekly assessment than a body-of-work thing.

hope we do as well as Pitt did against USF.

Remember what Rod would always say

“we aren’t good enough to play poorly and win” RR would always say that after a loss ( still does)

This WV team IS good enough to play poorly and win. That’s coaching so I am on Stews’ and the gangs bandwagon.

Yes

I will continue to vote yes until the Mountaineers lose. I really don’t get all the negativity and complaining by fans. I was born in the great state of West Virginia in ’81 and have lived here my whole life.

The state of WV football has been a lot worse. Never in my lifetime have so many great athletes been playing and recruited to this football team. This is really a special time to be a Mountaineer fan both in football and basketball.

So why don’t you ENJOY the ride. Last time I checked we were winning ALOT of football games. Anyone remember the Chad Johnston, Brad Lewis, Rasheed Marshall era’s? I do they sucked.

Let’s support the team and cheer for them win or lose. I know I will.

I'll keep it

Got motivated by Monday shotgun/throwdown to buy some Schlitz. You know how cheap that stuff is?

I'm inspiring people?!?!?

I don’t know if that’s scary or awesome.

Yes.

I was worried that we might get nipped by a team playing for their fallen brother. It almost happened, but it didn’t. Good adjustments at the half, and a defense that, despite giving up what seemed like a half mile of total offense, found a way to keep us in it. Just win, baby.

No.

Simply due to the fact that any opposing QB could have a 100% completion percentage if they threw 7-12 yards down the middle of the field every play. I’ll even accept the KO coverage as is if Tavon can continue with what he did last game.
