Around SBN: Off Tackle Empire interviews Rich Rodriguez

I think we should close it all down and just have Big 12 and SEC teams play for national championships."

Cincinnati Coach Brian Kelly blasting those questioning his teams credentials to be in the national title hunt. [via Mitch Vingle]

I think Kelly is a little too cocky, but I love the quote.

Simpler Idea

Just name Florida NC and Tebow Heisman winner FOR LIFE…did you know that Tebow does work for his church? That he gave an inspirational speech? That he got a concussion? Is there anything you haven’t heard about how absolutely wonderful he is? College football is becoming a joke and the joke is being told by ESPN et al who are making money hand over fist. The joke’s on us!

I'm not one for conspiracy theories...

but I agree that ESPN pushes an agenda the same way as MSNBC and Fox News.

I do, however, think the moon shot was fake, FEMA is the secret government and ’rastlin is real.

Leave no doubt tonigt! Leave no doubt tonight! No doubt! They shouldn't of played the Old Gold'n Blue.

I agree Rump, I am so sick of ESPN and hearing about Tebow and the SEC. No matter what smaller conferences do, it will never be without criticism. I am glad Kelly spoke out.

Wrestling is fake?

I found a reason to hate Tebow this weekend.

I too grow tired of hearing his name in anything pertaining to college football. Its so bad in fact that my girlfriend (who hates the college version of the sport never watching any games, but loves the NFL…wtf?) has actually commented on how often he’s mentioned. Despite this I still remind myself that it isn’t Tebow so much as the SEC homers and lazy media looking for an easy story who are trying to get him canonized as the patron saint of circumcision and jorts.

That was until this weekend when I found out that he was praying for a win on the sidelines as the gators *cough*SEC officials*cough* kicked the FG to beat Arkansas. Now I always thought that the whole christian act from him might be a little overdone and played up, but talk about being a blasphemous ass.

Crazy talk

Let’s not get carried away with this wrestling thing- WWE Bragging rights is in the ‘burgh Sunday and my kids are going to be awfully disappointed if they catch wind of this balderdash. Next you’ll be posting that WVU Columbus predicts UConn will win like he did last year.

Seriously

I was so sick of hearing “updates” on Tim Tebow’s concussion the other week. I just can’t wait until next year when I can stop Hearing about Tebow, McCoy, and hopefully Bradford. But then again we will still have to hear Barkley, Prior, Forcier. Another thing that pissed me off is having College Gameday with Texas twice. I love how they do in during basketball season. They pick a schedule at the begining of the season and thats it. Football they just go back and forth to the same places.

……You what college gameday?

Why? If you wanted to hear crazy asinine rambling from a group of washed up knuckleheads isn’t there a local Moose lodge where a superior brand of said entertainment can be found?
