Mountaineer Madness
[via www.msnsportsnet.com]
Everyone making the trek to Morgantown for The Friends of Coal Bowl, I would suggest that you get into town Friday night for Mountaineer Madness. It is always a good time and is the first glimpse at the 2009-2010 national champs. Yeah, I said it. We are going to win it all.
The festivities at the Coliseum begin at 6:30 with an autograph session at the Green and Gold gates. The on-court festivities will tip-off at 8:30. Players will be introduced, the coaches will talk for a bit, old players will shoot, new players will dunk and then both teams will practice.
Be there or be a Pitt fan.

I can't make it, wish I could
I’m certainly no Pitt fan. I have a previous engagement with a little band from down under. You may have heard of them. They are called AC/DC.
Wow ýou're old.
Next thing you know you will be telling us about Charlie Chaplin.

they may be past they're prime
but it’s the last band on my list of those I’ve always wanted to see. Foo Fighters will take their place on that list after tomorrow.
ALSO
The team is debuting new uniforms. Should be sweet.

USF/Cincy
Both of these teams will beat WVU unless the defense turns it around, and I mean quickly. They have fast offenses w/ potential to embarass tentative/unsure defenses. This WVU team’s foundation was “supposed” to be the defense, if you listened to people before the season, and it has been extremely disappointing, overall this season.
This game tonight is probably for the Big East Championship because these 2 teams show me significantly more, OVERALL, vs. PITT/WVU
NOT SO FAST
I’M feeling better about playing both of them now….both UC and USF only played a half of football..although Cincy’s backup QB looks impressive. Lets keep it old school and have the Big East decided in the brawl in Motown .

Our D is Fine
I think our defense is fine. Thier backs are always against the wall because the kickoff team sucks. Too many times we give the ball to the other team at the 40 or worse after we score. If they pick up one first down they are in the long field goal – we might as well go for it on 4th down zone. That puts a lot of pressure on the D.
Imagine if we could score, pin the other team at the 20, and have the flexibility to give up a 1st down or two before forcing a punt. Thats how you win 55-0

I take it you are from somewhere close to the Northern Panhandle of WV.
