Providence, Wednesday, 2 PM

Didn't feel like working on Wednesday afternoon? Looking for an excuse to leave your job, go to a bar, and get stinking drunk in the middle of the day? Hate the state of Rhode Island? Well, do I have an answer for you.
WVU, the #5 seed, plays Providence, the #12 seed, at 2 PM on Wednesday in the first round of the Big East Tournament. If you're at the Athletic Club at Embassy Suites around noon, you can sit with me. But we're splitting the check -- don't think you can freeload on my dime.

Damned A-Club. I used to work there— none of the waiters make any money, so please be generous.

This will be the third straight first round game against PC. In 11 first round Big East Tournament games, this will be the 5th time we’ve played the fathers first round and the 4th time in the past 5 first rounds – 97, ’03, ’05, ’07, and ’08. We had a bye first round ’06.

I wonder what kind of odds we’ll get against UConn. I think we might be able to pull it off, but I’m skeptical. Though not as skeptical as I am as to the fact that Hasheem Thabeet can speak English.

A weekend Post? are pigs flying?
This providence game scars me for the sole reason that it is hard to beat any team 3 times in a row.

Its true it is hard to beat any team three times in a row, but that only applies if the team you are playing doesn’t suck. It is really easy to beat teams that suck three times in a row.

It may be hard to beat a team three times if the team didnt suck. Providence sucks so it will not be hard.
