No doubt. Our team could be higher reguarded across the states if we could have shot a higher percentage of free throws over the past month or so. Did you see Huggins rip Alexander’s ass during the 2nd half. Wow, I haven’t seen him that mad.

We’re so close to being 20-3 and in the Top 15 that it hurts. It really does. What was Smith thinking on the last play? Leaving Ramon open like that? UGGH!

Maybe the reason our shooting percentage has dipped, is because Huggins has these guys lifting weights a lot more? I heard we lift up to three times a week? Also, maybe the physical play has worn our guys down a bit and made their legs tired? It’s all about your legs when taking jump and foul shots.

Huggins was very pissed off last night. He went on a real diatribe with Alexander last night. Joe looked totally deflated while sitting on the bench. I heard he ripped Ruoff pretty bad too in the post-game interviews.

Like it or not, this what Huggins does and how he coaches the game. He hasn’t won 600+ games for nothing. He’s harsh, but only wants the guys to give it their all on both sides of the floor every play sequence.

I feel for Alex and Joe, but they aren’t playing good basketball right now and it’s Huggins’ job to get them to focus again. If he has to tear you down to do, so be it. However, he’ll show compassion again once these guys start shooting better and playing harder.

I can see why some would want to question WS’s decision to leave Ramon open at the end, but it should have never come to that anyway….make your fucking foul shots!

I do not buy into the theory of the weight lifting and working hard as the reason for the dip in performance lately. It worked at Cincinnati, it can work here. Also, I’ve been seeing a ton of mental mistakes lately. Alot more seem to be mental to me than physical.
