Still no new WVU coach. No action likely tomorrow, Christmas day. Wednesday, Dec 26 Central Michigan plays Purdue in the Motor City Bowl. Perhaps a Butch Jones interview with Pastilong on Dec 27?

OK, seems Butch Jones has already interviewed. So maybe an offer after their bowl game?

I sincerely doubt that. I am told Butch Jones has very little, if any, chance at the job.

And 5thyear, the Trib article is the best Xmas gift ever, seeing as how there was no new coach under the tree. Which woulda been kinda creepy and distubing anyway.

That article is great. You know, if Bill Stewart can pull off an upset at the Fiesta Bowl, they should just stop looking for a Fraudriguez replacement and replace Stewart’s old position instead. If the team can pull this off with him at the helm he deserves the job.

Guys I understand the rift of Ed Pastilong. He was the reason we didn;t get Bobby Huggins a couple of years ago. Why are we trying to stay with past WVU graduates? Why dont we branch out and look at other canidates for our football coach. Like APPY State head coach, he has done a hell of a job with that team. I know most people hate of likes this guy but why not try to get Bill Cowher, I think he could do a good job. Al Groh out of Virginia would be and option, Cinncinnati head coach would be a shot to look at. I just don;t know why year after year the Athletic director keeps fing up and we cant land a top name coach. Spend the money to get a great coach and build a dynasty in Morgantown. Dont screw this up and we return to team that cant win 8 games in a year. i cant watch that agin. I have bleed blue and gold for 31 years and had to listen to the crap in Huntington all them years about how marshall is better thatn WVU. Thats Bullcrap and I want us to destroy Marshall every year. Buck up spend the money and get us a coach and quit dragging your f in feet. Fire Pastilong and the other s that are preventing this from happening.
